Pure copper isn't magnetic. Most of the copper jewelry sold online is either plated (a thin copper coating over a cheaper metal like steel or brass) or alloyed with enough iron or nickel to make it feel magnetic, that's the quickest way to spot a fake.
The test is simple:
- Grab any fridge magnet
- Hold it against your cuff, ring, or necklace
- If it sticks, even slightly, it isn't pure copper
- If it doesn't stick, you're holding the real thing
Every piece I make is 100% pure copper, never plated, never alloyed with cheap metals. Run the test on yours the day it arrives. If it ever fails, I'll refund you immediately.

Every bracelet that leaves this workshop started the same way, with copper stock, a pair of hands, and thirty-nine years of knowing what works.
My father Earl built this business in 1987 out of a garage in rural Ohio. He believed copper belonged against the skin, for the joints that stiffen with age, for circulation that needs a little help, for the kind of relief that doesn't come in a bottle. I grew up watching him work, and eventually I picked up where he left off.
